Greetings to the youth
Generation of truth
Young brains, strong minds
Do you understand time and how your existence is defined?
How can you know where you are?
You don’t know where you’re from
Our history is gone, long lost, burnt in the sun
Society is built on created principles
Religion is a tool, just look at Christ’s disciples
Age of empires, repeated in cycles
Institutionalized, taking lives with their rifles
Hierarchy, conformity
Defies the majority, who strive to be
Greater than slaves in a machine...
The right to work free
The right to drink
The right to eat
The right to think
The right to speak
The right to live
The right to teach
And not get beat down on the concrete by authority
Who only protect the rich minority
They live for greed, they kill for need, they steal to eat
Leaving the deed of a billion mouths to feed!
So it was to be, creation of economy
A theory for one beneficiary
They say money means power but we don’t have any
For centuries we bleed, they are few, we are many! Hey!
Load on our shoulders we will carry
We will fight for the right to bread to fill up our bellies
Internalize the right to life, I know the thought is scary
But you must try with all your might, now tell me, are you ready!?
You keep looking ahead but if you looked behind
You might find the key to your mind
Buried in the sands of time, buried by the sands of time!
How can you know where you are?
You don’t know where you’re from
I wish upon a star that we no longer run
See our history is gone, it’s burnt up in the sun
Pick up a book, drop the gun, grab my hand, it’s done
To win they commit sin, what man does against his kin
Is solely for the control of those who're low and sold their soul
Not the millions who ain’t got no food to eat, how come they poor?
Teach us history explicitly but wait’s not complete
They fail to mention certain things, the silence starts to creep
They start to hide important things, the lies are getting steep
They make us sing to praise the king and put us all to sleep
We’re made to internalize lies so drastically, intrinsically
But deep in me, I see the tree of life that should already be
The seed of our humanity, modesty, not vanity
In fact, the track to living quality is not lots of money
It’s love, a people’s polity with equal policies
